Ella Taal
After studying Legal Political Science at Leiden University, I became internal consultant sustainability at Royal Ahold. After 4 years of working experience as an internal consultant and trainer in communication and negotiation techniques for works councils, I felt I had sufficient work experience and grounding to start my own company. On my 31st I started my first organizational consulting firm Second Nature Management Consultants specialized in optimizing the human factor in companies (and organizations) and became an entrepreneur (1996).
I inherited entrepreneurship from my mother, who was also self-employed and managed to combine entrepreneurship with motherhood effortlessly.
During my entrepreneurship, I also became a mother of 3 daughters (now 25, 23 and 20 years old). In September 2011, after a management buy out, I founded the organizational consulting firm ''Awareness in Business, conscious people better results'' that specializes in the design and implementation of leadership and awareness enhancement program higher management and business leaders and entrepreneurs.
My dream is to contribute to the transformation of result-driven to purpose-driven, where the people who work in these organizations show the best of themselves from their intrinsic motivation (talents and own purpose) and experience more happiness in the workplace for a good work-life balance.
In this way, I strive to leave a better world for my children, in which there is room for happiness, passion, intrinsic motivation and ambition.
I have a passion for people and their intrinsically motivated potential, to guide them from there to the next level of consciousness (where is my energy draining and what are my personal needs). To then work and live in flow effortlessly from this heightened awareness from intrinsic motivation (from talents and purpose).
I feel privileged when I see my work and energy contributing to greater awareness and positive change in individuals and teams in companies and organizations.
For more than 25 years I have experience as an independent coach, leadership development trainer and organizational consultant for various clients such as PwC Netherlands, PwC Middle East, DSM, Ahold, Boskalis, Princess Maxima Center, Aeson Solutions, Thal technologies, Evers Partners, Public Matters, Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment, Social Affairs and the Public Prosecutor's Office. I am also certified as a DISC and Motivation Factor practitioner, tools that I use at the beginning of a coaching or leadership development program.
Since 2012 I have also been working in the Dutch Caribbean. Among others I lead team development projects and change processes for various clients such as the Port of Sint Maarten, Sint Maarten Medical Centre, Sint Maarten Government, Oyster Bay beach resort and Police Force Curaçao, Bonaire, Aruba and Sint Maarten.
Broad experience I have in the design and implementation of leadership programs and coaching programs for business and government. I know how to switch and connect between hard and soft elements in my consulting, training and coaching.
